I hope all of my Muslim readers had a meaningful and joyous Ramadan.

It was Rosh Hashanah the day before Eid, I think, right? I hope it was a wonderful one for you! :)
“I only remember my friends’ birthdays because of Facebook” made me laugh. I use facebook to remind me of these things too.
Unfortunately, my best friend and future maid of honor does not have, or want, a facebook account.
And so, for the 2nd year in a row, I forgot her birthday. I knew it was 9/15 when prompted, but on the 15th, she wasn’t on my mind.
Thank goodness she accepted my groveling and buying her dinner and shoes.
Fatemah, yes, Rosh Hashanah was the day before Eid.
So, because I feel sorry that you didn’t get to have YOUR holiday on International Talk Like a Pirate Day–

I think one of the days to celebrate eid was International Peace Day. I think that’s just as good! ;)
