delia, that entry is pretty hilarious. I’ve had workplaces that have done ugly Hawaiian shirt parties, but not Christmas sweaters. The last time I worked with a team that might have done something like that, about half the folks were consultants or programmers from India.

I’ve never been to one but it does sound like a lot of fun. It reminds me of a yankee swap we would have at the last office I worked at. After the holidays participants would bring in the worst gift they got and we’d exchange. It was hysterical.
