As an avid reader of advice columns, I noticed (along with other commenters on the Boston Globe site) that today’s column contained a letter that had also appeared in the columns of other writers.
I wonder what etiquette surrounds submitting a letter to an advice columnist. Should the letter writer have refrained from multiple submissions?

You never know where you’ll get published…plus I imagine each advice columnist has their own slant, so asking 3 different people the same question is likely to get you 3 slightly different answers.
