This is terribly rude, but I haven’t found an open thread, and I suppose I wanted this to be public. I know you don’t make the policies for the Globe, but I also know they’ve lost a reader of your column because I can’t access it without paying — I’m not a Bostonian and your column is the only one I read, and I am currently between jobs, so Globe access seems like a remarkably poor use of funds. Do you know of any other outlets that may carry your column?
Unfortunately, the column isn’t carried anywhere else, for a variety of reasons, and I’m not allowed to post the full text online any more. I plan to ask if I can publish them here at some point after the publication date, but right now the folks at the Globe are still in full-on transition mode, and I’d rather wait until things calm down.
It’s a shame! I really enjoy your column. I’m going to continue reading the blog posts, of course, so do mention if anything changes.
Ummm…that should be Community SERVINGS, not Savings.
